Install Minor Structures
The units of competency covered in this course are:
- TLIS2013 Install Minor Structures
- TLIS0002 Install and Maintain Surface Track Drainage
- TLIS3037 Install and Repair Earthworks
At the successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Plan and prepare to install road crossings, earthworks, surface and sub-soil drainage
- Install and repair earthworks, including excavating trenches and installing bedding materials
- Install and maintain sub-soil and surface drainage
- Assemble, install and maintain road crossings
- Maintain road crossings
- Restore the worksite after drainage works and road crossing installation
- Complete documentation related to earthworks, drainage and maintenance or installation of a road crossing.
