    • Inspections
    • Servicing
    • Re-fuelling
    • Lubricating
    • Safety devices
  • Know the safety precautions and restrictions required to operate road/rail vehicles
  • including:
    • Traveling
    • Operating, boarding/leaving
    • Braking
    • Reverse travel
    • On and off tracking
    • Restricted access areas
    • Breakdwons
    • Hydraulic hoses
    • Towing
    • Emergency Removal from track.

 

Course Outcome

On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a statement of attainment for TLIC3045 Operate Road/Rail Vehicle

Pre requisite

Current category 1 – rail medical (NCOP compliant) & relevant ticket / high risk licence for vehicle being operated
