Installing Turnouts

The unit of competency covered in this course are:

TLIS0003 Install Turnouts

At the successful completion of this course you will be able to:

Removing existing track
Preparing the track bed for installation of points and crossings
Installing new points and crossings and ensuring the dimensions, geometry and condition and operation are checked for compliance.

Course Outcome	On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a statement of attainment for TLIS0003 Install Turnouts
Pre requisite	Nil
Course Duration	1 Day plus follow up field assessment after training is completed
