Metro TVO1
This course will instruct personnel who hold the Road-Rail Plant Operator Role and are wishing to travel Track Vehicle on the MTM network in how to safely operate a track vehicle fitted with rail guidance wheels within a MTM worksite under protection. The course will also provide the operator with the knowledge in how to care for and maintain the track vehicle, implement the procedures required to remove a disabled vehicle from the running line, conduct a hazard analysis to determine the safe operation of the track vehicle, identify basic fixed signals and provide vehicle security.

Current category 1 - rail medical (NCOP compliant), TLIC2054 Access rail track to run track vehicle within defined worksite, TLIC3045 Operate road / rail vehicle, TLIF0020 Safely access the rail corridor and a current driver's licence suitable to the type of vehicle being assessed on (Car, MR, HR) Own road rail vehicle must be provided for practical component |
