Operate Road Rail Vehicle within a Defined Worksite
The unit of competency covered in this course is:
- TLIC3045 Operate Road/Rail Vehicle
- TLIC2054 - Access Rail Track to Run Track Vehicle Within Defined Worksite
At the successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Identify limits of a defined worksite and type of track protection whilst operating a road/rail vehicle
- Safely access the rail track to operate a road/rail vehicle within a defined worksite on a rail network
- Perform pre and post-operational checks
- Operate the vehicle including on and off tracking, travelling, securing and stabling the vehicle
- Identify unsafe situations and/or emergencies and the appropriate action to take in accordance with workplace procedures
- Obtain approval to operate on track.
