Tamping Machine Operations Competency

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Perform pre-start operation procedures
Operate the cleaner
Optimise machine performance
Travel the tamper
Pack-up and secure tamper at end of shift
Maintenance
Emergency procedures engine, pneumatic or hydraulic failure
Emergency towing.

Course Outcome	On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a certificate of attendance for Tamping Machine Operations
Pre requisite	Nil
Course Duration	1 Day and log book hours plus follow up field assessment after training is completed
Course Location	Training facility or on site as arranged
